Abstract

Halal hub is a concerted effort among the Islamic organizations or bodies such as Halal manufacturers or producers, Halal traders, buyers, and consumers from all over the world. To be accepted by non-Muslim producers,
the central trading hub for Halal products, Malaysia must intelligently market itself and achieve Halal hub main objective of providing a credible platform in promoting Halal products. Existing literature provides a number of examples
that illustrate how halal hub can be accepted by these groups. This article is about determinants of acceptance towards Halal hub among non-Muslim producers in Kota Bharu. The researcher uses questionnaire as the main sources of data for this research. This helps to describe the relationship
among the variables and factors that affect the level of acceptance towards Halal hub among non-Muslim producers. The variables that are significant to this topic are awareness, perceived behavioural control and role of Halal certificate. The researcher found that the demographic factor is not ignificant
to be one of the independent variables for this research. This research is also designed to serve as a basis for future research in this area.
