Abstract
This paper highlights the factors that affecting job selection preference among student’s semester 6, Faculty of Business in UiTM (Melaka) City Campus. The research focused on the factor such as salary and benefit, working environment, employer reputation and career development. The research was conducted in UiTM (Melaka) City Campus and involve 155 student’s semester 6, Faculty of Business. 170 questionnaire ware distributed and only 135 questionnaire were return and valid. The research were used the simple random sampling. The data was collected and being processed or analyzed using SPSS program. The reliability analysis, descriptive analysis and regression analysis was used to answer the research questions and research objectives. The results of this research are expected to help the employer to attract applicant, the university improve and train their students to satisfy their preference over job selection and help students to choose the job based on their preferences.
