Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of internship program toward work readiness. This study consists of three (3) independent variables which is role clarity, skill and motivation. This research is focusing on selected young graduates of Faculty of Business Management, UiTM Bandaraya Melaka who have been through internship period especially on second session of 2019 where mostly started on 1st August 2019. A set of questionnaires were distributed to the selected young graduates of UiTM Bandaraya Melaka (N=171). The questionnaires are using 7-point Likert Scale as instrument. Besides, this study was analysed using Statistic Package for Social Science (SPSS) with descriptive analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis as data analysis. Based on the result, all of the three independent variables which is role clarity, skill and motivation have a significant relationship with the dependent variable of the effectiveness of internship program toward work readiness.
