The research question for this study is what are the types of offensive humor that affects the performance of employees in the organization? What are the factors that contribute to the offensive humor in the organizations and does the offensive humor affect the performance level of employees in the organizations. This study is using descriptive method and questionnaire as medium to collecting data. The return rate from questionnaire distributes is 100%. The findings showed that mostly respondents agreed that offensive humour could give stress but it not effect to the respondent's performance. The strong recommendation for this study is, people should be more selective in choosing topic for humour and take seriously about surrounding especially about their sensitivity. Based on Daniel Baron (2012) study, sometimes it's hard to differentiate between a joke (and other form of humour) and other examples of expression that share similar characteristics with humour. So in that matter, Offensive joke could happen in realize or unrealized situation. Sometime it also can create a little tense in office environment but so how people tend to accept this as a neutral way to communicate.
