Abstract

The lack of level of job satisfaction towards a teacher in government sector will give big impact towards students. It will cause the poverty to student achievement becoming a growing successful student. The problem of level of job satisfaction must be known in order to achieve target for school becoming the best school that can generate a successful student without getting a teacher be burden with the responsibility that they need to be done. This problem cannot be solved if the teacher doesn't get any bonus or rewards towards their work. Because teacher is important role in school that student need to get knowledge and better understanding of the subject study to meets the need in student performance. Thus, in this research study is to make a survey to study the factor of job satisfaction towards government employee for teacher in secondary school at Batu Pahat, Johor. Specifically, this study attempts to identify the factor of job satisfaction towards how long they have been in their positional tenure and the organizational, then to see the relationship of salary, benefits/facilities, relationship of co-workers and the relationship with superior has the relation with job satisfaction. Its specifically studies in Batu Pahat Johor because near with the place the researcher internship at Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah Batu Pahat. We determined the population is 250, and sample size is 152 to the 5 school that has been choosing in Batu Pahat that based on the table of sekaran. This research is based on data obtained from survey questionnaire that to know the factor of job satisfaction towards teacher based on salary, benefits/facilities, relationship of co-workers and the relationship with superior has the relation with job satisfaction. The data was analyzed by using IBM SPSS Statistic 22. The result of the study at the end of this research is benefits/facilities are highly affected with factor of job satisfaction. It hope that the study can contribute to the improvement of factor of job satisfaction towards teacher in Batu Pahat, Johor.
