Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of (employee empowerment, compensation and benefits, training and development, and career advancement opportunities) on employee loyalty of the employees in Johor Corporation, specifically in Human Resources Division. The research uses quantitative method. Model and hypotheses of this study is based on the basic theory used by previous studies. This study is descriptive study and the data were collected by using questionnaires which are being distributed through Google form and not by physical questionnaires due to Movement Control Order and COVID-19 pandemic. This questionnaires are targeting a population of 80 respondents and using 66 sample, using Likert scale of 5-level. This study used IBM SPSS 26.0 software for evaluating the hypotheses and analysis the correlations among the factors. After analysing, this study found that the only factors that are significantly affecting employee loyalty in Johor Corporation is Career Advancement Opportunities. This is because, career advancement opportunities is the most important elements that the employees is seeking for their job security and career growth. Future research on different factors or elements has been suggested at the end of this study.
