A study on the effectiveness of employee motivation at Majlis Daerah Tangkak

The study aims to identify the factors influencing employee motivation in Majlis Daerah Tangkak. It is very important for an organization to make sure that their employees can maintain their performance. In this research, the researcher chooses rewards, good working condition, appreciation of work done and interesting work as the factors that affect employees motivation. Besides that, in this research it focuses on three objectives which are to determine the level of employee motivation at Majlis Daerah Tangkak, to determine the relationship between rewards, appreciation of work done, good working condition and interesting work towards employee motivation and lastly to prioritize the key factors that can affect employees motivation. 120 respondents were chosen from employees in Majlis Daerah Tangkak which are permanents workers. The findings of the study are, all of independent variables have significant relationship with employee motivation. The researcher also found that interesting work is the most significant predictor variables. Overall, the research objectives are able to be answered in this study.
