Abstract

The lack of raw material resources has caused the Malaysian furniture industry to use new alternatives to maintaining furniture production. Generally known, good properties of wood, leads Malaysia to be top five ranks biggest exporter to developed country such as USA, Japan, China, Singapore, Australia, and many big countries. Therefore, to solve limited raw material resources, console table made from Neolamarckia cadamba has been created. The objective of this study is to produce a console table by maximizing usage of wood log that made by Neolamarckia cadamba (Kelempayan ) as well as to analysed respondents feedback on the console table made of Kelempayan based on the raw material, design, marketing, and satisfaction of the product. Respondents agree with the element based on material, design, marketing, and product satisfaction, according to the study's findings. As a result, the goal of this study has been met. The product design was well received by many respondents
