Abstract
This study is about a multipurpose chair and table made of rubberwood as the raw material. Rubberwood, scientifically known as Hevea brasiliensis, is a medium-density light-coloured tropical hardwood. Rubberwood is frequently marketed as an "environmentally friendly" wood because it is made from plantation trees that have already served a useful purpose. Rubberwood is an excellent choice for furniture since it has the same density as maple or ash. It's an even better alternative for some because it's less difficult to work with than other types of wood used in furniture. Rubberwood is also a lot less expensive option that does not sacrifice quality. The goal of this research is to create a multipurpose chair and table. Survey respondents were polled about the design and material of the multipurpose chair and table. This method was used to analyse data based on a questionnaire issued to 154 respondents from various gender, age, profession, and income groups. The evaluation was based on raw material qualities, design, marketing, and customer satisfaction. The data was broken down into four categories reliability analysis, demographic analysis, comparative analysis, descriptive analysis, and correlation analysis. According to the findings, most respondents were pleased with this product. The results showed that the design of the product was the most important to the respondents in general with a mean of 4.09, which was higher than the other three categories. As a result, in today's furniture sector, this multipurpose rubberwood chair and table has a great commercialization potential.
