Adjustable resting chair with rattan seat / Mohd Yusof Baharom

The 'Adjustable Resting Chair' was design to overcome the easy to handle changing position seat. Light mix material; rubber wood and rattan were used for the resting chair. The project was discussed on the design process, manufacturing process and product realization. The design has only two different components that are relatively easy and simple to produce. The manufacturing process contributed several stages with a specific machine. The 'adjustable stage' and 'rattan stem' design were very unique from others. It provides an easy to handle and give good position. With further refinement and improvement of the prototype, it is believed that the product could make a way into on the near future market.
