Ergonomics: a survey on the effect of ergonomics application among the office workers at the Pejabat Setiausaha Kerajaan Johor Bahagian Perumahan / Nur Syazana Samsuden

The aim of this thesis is about a study to determine whether the application of ergonomic that have been implemented in the organization satisfied the employees and does the employees have participated to the ergonomic application. Besides that, this study also are about to determine whether the employer contribute their commitment in applying the ergonomics application in the organization. This study's is very important to researcher to learn about this subject in greater dept. Through this subject also, researcher can know the methods and data that must be available for inclusion in the study such as collect data make the questionnaires, how to calculate data and so on. Research can know what affect are after application of the ergonomic and connecting the variables with the usage of ergonomics. Besides that, this study will promote the ergonomic usage among the employees by realizing the positive affect that will be received. Moreover, it will help the employees to have a comfortable and pleasant environment to work. The result of the thesis showed that, after the organization have implement the ergonomic application in the office it is showed that the most contribute to the ergonomic application implementation were employer commitment. Thus, it can say that, the employees did not really put their participation in conducting the ergonomic application. Other than that, the employees are not really satisfied towards the ergonomic usage that has been implemented in the Pejabat Setiausaha Kerajaan Johor Bahagian Perumahan. Recommendation that, can be suggest after conducting this thesis, is employer should expose the knowledge about the ergonomic application to their staff. Example of exposure that can be done like do a campaign to support the ergonomic application in the office. Besides that, employee should be open minded and give variety of ideas to support the ergonomic application. Last but not least, before having a successful ergonomic application in the organization, all people should be aware about the important of ergonomic application.
