The relationship between workplace environment and employees productivity at Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah Jerantut (PPDJ) / Nor Fazilah Zainuddin

The objective of this research was to identify if there is exists any relationship between the workplace environment and employee's productivity. This research also conducted to investigate the which factors of workplace environment that have a great impact on the employees productivity and to identify what is the level of employees productivity at Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah Jerantut (PPDJ). A questionnaire was used as the main instrument to collect the data and the data was analysed using SPSS version 21.0. The population of this study is 55 employees and the number of respondents is 48. The questionnaire was distributed personally to the respondents at Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah Jerantut (PPDJ) and some of the respondents were personally being assisted by the researcher in explaining the content of questionnaires and in choosing the desired answer for each of the statements. It is was found that the Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah Jerantut (PPDJ) has already implement some of the comfortable furniture and environment in their organization. Beside that, as reffering to the result it indicated that there is a strong relationship between the workplace environment with the employees productivity at Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah Jerantut (PPDJ). As recommendation, the researcher recommend that the organization need to provide the good working environment for the employees, maintain the temperature in the workplace area and provide employees with a sufficient amount of nature light that can entering into the work area. Beside that researcher also give the recommendation for future research in term of conducting the research in other industry to get more information, increase size of population by conducting this research in the bigger organization and add more varible factor that related with the workplace environment.
