Abstract

Trash compactor is a type of home furniture purposely used for reducing the waste volume, thus saving space and reducing the frequency of taking out trash by compressing or compacting the object manually or automatically. In this case, this trash compactor is intended to be operate manually with minimum force from a person. The trash compactor is suitable to any daily user who deals with simple waste such as paper, plastic and etc. The methodologies used in this study are comparison between existing product on the market with the customer requirements and fabricate a design that can satisfy the objectives. The selected design, concept and materials then be combined into a final product.
