Abstract

This project is about the design and development of the sling based on the ping pong ball launcher. There are several step and method to create it. The process for doing the project can do in the laboratory. The projectile launcher has a few objectives, and we can achieve it. Projectile launcher must have an object such as ball to launch it. To make the project success, several research processes carried out, including determining what materials should be utilised, what data collection method should be employed, and what data variables should be used. After choosing the final design, it must be fabricated with several process such as drilling, cutting, and welding. Then, the product must be tested to collect the data such as the distance to launch, the time taken and others. Overall, this project may provide motivation and experience to operate various types of machines, as well as soft skill abilities such as time management, task planning, negotiating skills and the ability to sell out a concept, particularly during work progress presentation.
