Abstract
Most victims of sexual harassment do not report the incidents of sexual harassment due to various reasons including lacking awareness about sexual
harassment. This study is a survey on the awareness of academic and non academic staff at UiTM Sabah. In addition, the respondents were asked what actions they will likely take when faced with unwelcome sexual advances. A total of 207 questionnaires were distributed to the staff of UiTM Sabah using stratified sampling method. The result showed that the level of awareness among academic and non academic staff towards sexual harassment was low. Most were not aware what actions constitute sexual harassment. However, most of them indicated that they would most likely report an unwelcome sexual advance.
