Abstract
The purpose of this study is to find out how lack of vocabulary impedes the speaking fluency among students in a tuition school. Students nowadays are well equipped with different technologies and methodologies as assistance to their learning process. We can say that there are various reasons for learning the language and the study is mainly reasons concerned with the usage of vocabulary in speaking English. Knowing a language is not just a matter of having grammatical competence but one also needs to add communicative competence, that is the understanding of what language is appropriate in certain situations.
