Factors influence people choice on commuter train at KTMB Sungai Petani / Latifah Abu Hassan

Railways system has been introduced during the colonization of British era to connect Malaya and Singapore to British conquers the natural resources. However, the study is to focus the factors that influence people choice on the commuter train based on the three factors such as punctuality, convenient spaces and safety. A convenience sampling has been used to 306 respondents at KTMB Sungai Petani through the questionnaire form for two weeks. The result found that the respondent choose the commuter train at KTMB Sungai Petani based on punctuality since the result show the most influential factor that contribute to the people choice is the reliability of time and the schedule.
