Abstract
Reinventing government is a fundamental transformation of public systems and organizations to create dramatic increases in their effectiveness, efficiency, adaptability, and capacity to innovate among public servant. The purpose of the study is to raise understanding on the public servants about reinventing local government practices and identify any possible improvement for implementation in Malaysia. The study has been conducted in Kota Kinabalu Municipal Council (DBKK) which is cover five department which is consist 100 respondents. The objectives of this study is to identify the factors contribute to employees understanding towards reinventing government.
