Process of renovation work for roof of existing building (school) / Nooraizat Ahmad

In this report, all the information regarding to my practical place for during Semester 6 for Diploma studies has been recorded. I am undergoing industrial training at the Jabatan Kerja Raya Selangor Complex. Therefore, I was placed at the maintenance section of the Building Department. In addition, the supervisor who served me as to give me guidance is Mrs. Nurul Diyana Binti Mohd Dahari which had given me a lot of knowledge and detailed explanation towards the scope of maintenance work in JKR Selangor. Next, as a student who is undergoing the industrial training session, students are assigned to make a report based on ongoing projects currently being undertaken at their respective industrial training sites. One of the projects that I have chosen was the inspection report and the estimated cost of repairing work of the roof truss for schools in the state of Selangor. The contents of this report are divided into five chapters which is the first chapter is about the introduction of student's industrial training company background, organization chart, scope of work and other related information. Next, the second chapter tells about the literature review about the selected report title or project. This section requires students to do a little research to get more accurate information about a fact of the selected topic. Hence, the third topic is about further information on case studies towards the topics chosen by students. There is some data and evidence on site areas should be included as references to the report. Next is the fourth topic where in this topic the student needs to identify the problems that arise for the case study and propose some solutions to the problem. Last but not least, in chapter five, all the data recorded by the student had to be sum up in this report so that this report might be beneficial to the student in future other that in order to fulfill the requirement as a practical student during studies lesson.
