Method statement of groundbeam (temporary formwork) at Maktab Rendah Sains Mara (MRSM) Besut, Terengganu / Mohd Safiq Aizat Mat Ropi

This report briefly describes the processes and methods involved in the preparation and installation of concrete formwork of double-storey terrace house in MRSM Besut. This report is produced based on observation and experience writer for two and a half months of construction projects are progressed. This report is divided into sections and started with the company's profile and background of the construction project. In this report are briefly described for the theoretical research on the types of formwork is commonly used in construction. In addition, briefly explained the method statement of the groundbeam of concrete formwork which is include the definition of the formwork, the type of components, and the time required to remove the formwork. Then, described in more detail about the tools involved and used in the preparation and installation of concrete formwork. During the process of preparation and installation is in progress, some problems related during the installation process have been identified and the report ended with some suggestions that felt able to overcome the problems identified. In conclusion, author hoped that this report will explain in more detail to the reader on how the process of preparing concrete formwork.
