Abstract

Alhamdulillah, lastly I was finished the task of BSB351 Practical Training. My position during as a practical training is as assistant Quantity Surveyor a bit little this was helped me in completing the final task last for final year. Learning the part of the construction field during the training give me a spirit to know more about this field. Before this I was learn the theory about the building which is about how to maintain completed building from the aspect of maintenance management, maintenance policy building maintenance strategy, and financial aspect for their maintenance work. For this time my experience as a assistant qs give some twists in the field of work as a building surveyor. This paper works presents the result of the studies about Installation Tiling Works in a Building that performed at services Apartment Almyra Resident at Bandar Bukit Mahkota Bangi. In the research and study, the interview is done by me during the period of 4 months training along with guide by Miss Hanis Faliza as a project QS for that project. I was given guidance in getting information and collecting data until the completed works. The result from my research about tiling installation works in a building at Almyra residence which I was learn the problem occurs during installation works and how to overcome that problem. The conclusion is the tiling works is important in building for the comfort to the occupant besides give an esthetic value. Installation of tiling in a
building is a common things that parallel with advances in construction technology nowadays.
