Abstract
The purpose of this research is to study work-life balance among female lecturers in UiTM City Campus, Malacca. It is known that educational industry is important for countries development. In this research, independent variables such as excessive workload, role ambiguity, working environment and working hours are being discussed to determine their correlation with work-life balance. There are total 92 sets of electronic questionnaires (Google Form) had been emailed to female lecturer and total number of 62 sets questionnaire had been collected. The sample was obtained by using the convenience sampling technique in which gathering of information from the all-female lecturers in UiTM City Campus, Malacca. Based on all the result of this study, all independent variable (workload, role ambiguity, working environment and working hours) have significant relationship with dependent variable (Work-Life Balance). For future study, there are few other stressful professions such as firefighter and airline pilots are recommended. Furthermore, if future studies are focusing in educational industry, they can emphasize on special education teachers such as the teachers who teach disable students.
