Abstract
My internship at Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMCD) allowed me to spend half of my 2022 productively. This report was formed as a result of my internship programme, which I completed as part of my Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons.) Finance programme. As this is my first time working under government environment, every new experience was really an eye-opener to me. I was eager to learn new things every day and to apply the knowledge and abilities I had learned during my studies, so it was an incredibly fascinating experience.
Due to the fact that I work in business administration, I was assigned to Bahagian Khidmat Pengurusan dan Sumber Manusia/kewangan (KPSM), where I was supervised by Puan Nor Sakinah binti Yahaya. Although my primary place would be at KPSM, but I would often go to the others department as they also need internship students to help them. Since I was an active student, I have been assigned to different kinds of task back-to-back with these department. I took this opportunity to understand more on problem solving skills and how to be a multitasking person.
This internship experience is really useful for students in order for them to prepare in experiencing real-life working environment. I am grateful with this opportunity given by RMCD in order for me to gained much more knowledge and adding up my skills before entering the journey as an employee.
