Abstract

The environment at the workplace could be influenced by several different factors. Employee performance is found to have a relationship with factors of work environment. This study is conducted to identify whether factors of work environment such as physical environment, psychosocial environment and work-life balance may affect employee performance at San Miguel Yamamura Woven Products Sdn. Bhd. The primary data of this study was gathered by distributing a web-based questionnaire to 132 of the respondents at San Miguel. The data will be tested using SPSS software version 23 accordingly to prove the significance of the dependent variables with the independent variables. Multiple Linear Regression Analysis was conducted in this study to observe independent variable which are physical environment, psychosocial environment and work-life balance with dependent variable which is employee performance. This study found that, there are significant relationship between physical environment and work-life balance towards employee performance. Meanwhile, the psychosocial environment was insignificantly related to employee performance. The discussion of the main findings, implications of study, limitations and recommendations for future research are discussed in the end of the study.
