Abstract

The title of this study is 'A Study on the Factors That Influences Employees Motivations at Majlis Perbandaran Pulau Pinang (MPPP)'. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that influence on work motivations among MPPP's staffs. This study has been done at Georgetown, Pulau Pinang and 50 respondents were chosen based on their grade level and department. Researcher used questionnaires as a medium in collecting all the data required and the researcher also uses SPSS version 21.0 in order to analyze the data collected. In order to help all the MPPP's staffs become more motivated, the organization should know what factors influences the employees, the most. This is very important because motivated employees will bring profit to the organization. According to these findings, it shows that individual attributes, job characteristics and organizational factors influences employees work motivation.
