Abstract
Issues of student’s employability arise dramatically with a large number of graduates that are really hard to be accepted by the employer. This issue might be due to the economy in our country that sometimes downs and ups but it could also be due to the graduates itself. Therefore, in this study, there are few variables that were investigated which are education and training, services and consulting, and research activities either it will contribute to the student’s employability or not. From there the view could be clearer when it shows that the collaboration of industry and university could settle the issue or not. This study was conducted in UiTM Bandaraya Melaka with a total up of 191 respondents. There was prove that there was a significant and no significant relationship between the student’s employability, education and training, services and consulting and research activities. In order the get the result for the collected data, statistical tools such as ANNOVA, multiple regression and correlation were used. This study shows that there was a significant and positive relationship between education and training activities and services and consulting activities with student’s employability. However, there is no significant relationship between research activities and student’s employability. This study give significance to the employer as well as students in enhancing their personal credibility for example as a student they have to be able to apply skills they learned in university and for the employer they should be able to give training and lesson so that fresh graduates could have a chance to be accepted as a new recruiter.
