Abstract
This study explored the relationship between work environment and job performance among support staff in manufacturing industry at Malaysian Newsprint Industries in Mentakab, Pahang. The work environment is consists three variable which is physical setting, leader's communication style and organization culture. The population of respondents for this study is 54 staff and the sample size is 44 respondents from Malaysian Newsprint Industries in Mentakab, Pahang. For the purpose of data collection, a questionnaire was used as the main instruments. The questionnaire consists three sections including demographic data and the items in the questionnaire were constructed according to research objectives and research questions. The data was analyzed by using the SPSS version 20.0 and involves the used of frequency distribution and correlation test. The finding showed that the staff of Malaysian Newsprint Industries in Mentakab, Pahang, that work environment and job performance have significant relationship. Therefore, it can be concluded that work environment played important roles that will influence job performance.
