Usage of Sultan Badlishah Library resources among Bachelor Administrative Science students of UiTM Kedah / Siti Hafizah Ridzuan

A library is a collection of sources, resources, and services, and the structure in which it is housed; it is organized for use and maintained by a public body, an institution, or a private individual. In the more traditional sense, a library is a collection of books. While library resources refers to the sources that are provided by library to their users. Thus, modem libraries are increasingly being redefined as places to get unrestricted access to infonnation in many fonnats and from many sources. This study seeks to usage of library resources among Bachelor of Administrative Science student at UiTM Kedah. Besides, this relationship also seeks relationship between variables which are the the usage of library resources at UiTM Kedah with factor that influence the usage of library resources, awareness, users' perception and role of librarian. Researcher was distributed questionnaire for data collection and used Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) for analyzing the data collection. The findings showed that respondent give positive respond to all independents variables. In conclusion, the factors influence the usage of library resources, awareness, users' perception and role of librarian is the elements to detennine the usage of library resources.
