Abstract

The title of this study is “The Effects of Job Satisfaction towards Work-Life Balance: A Study at Telekom Malaysia Bukit Mahkamah, Kuala Lumpur”. This study investigated the effects of job satisfaction towards work-life balance. Three objectives have been set in order to be able to achieve the purpose of this study. The objectives are to examine the level of satisfaction, to examine the level of existence of work-life balance, and to examine the relationship between job satisfaction with work-life balance in Telekom Malaysia Bukit Mahkamah, Kuala Lumpur. In order to answer and achieve the objectives and the purpose of the study, a few statistical analyses are used. First, reliability Analysis will be used to measure the reliability and validity of the data, then Descriptive Analysis is used to enable the researcher to describe the characteristics of the respondents and to determine level of job satisfaction and the level of existence of worklife balance while Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient is used to examine the relationship between job satisfaction with work-life balance. This study suggested that there is high level of job satisfaction among employees at Telekom Malaysia Bukit Mahkamah. Study also found that there is high existence of work-life balance in Telekom Malaysia Bukit Mahkamah. And lastly there is a positive relationship between job satisfaction and worklife balance where internal work motivation and relationship with co-worker have a weak relationship with work-life balance, while general satisfaction and relationship with supervisor have a moderate relationship with work-life balance.
