Abstract

The objective of this study was to produce a commercialize design of storage boxes with multipurpose uses and evaluate customer satisfaction on the newly invented design. A survey was conducted by giving a set of questionnaire to 60 respondents at UiTM consisted of staff, student, and others. The results showed that there was no significant difference between gender, age, and profession of respondents in relation to the design on the whole. Meanwhile, there was a significant difference based on gender of respondents on the influence the portability and easy handling of the product. This study has achieved all of the objectives stated as the results showed that almost all of the respondents strongly agreed with the product specification regardless of gender, age, and profession of respondents. In conclusion, this multipurpose storage boxes has the commercial values required.
