Abstract

Native hawkers are the term used to represent the indigenous people who are doing small scale trading activity. This study are conducted to determine the awareness of native hawkers towards the government assistances and to investigate the challenges of native hawkers towards government assistances. This research is conducted by using a simple random sampling technique where the elements in the population are selected randomly. The sample sizes for the purpose of this research are 100 respondents selected randomly in the area Kota Kinabalu, Inanam, Menggatal, and Tuaran. While the data collection instrument for this research is done through questionnaires and interviews.
