Multi-purpose coffee table / Annissa Nabila Farhana Asmarah

A coffee table is an essential piece of furniture in modern homes. They are intended to hold beverages, remote controls, storage, displays, and etc. However, not every coffee table saves space and easy to store. Nowadays, students and children frequently use coffee tables as study tables because they prefer to study in the living room, in front of the television. Subsequently, the coffee table serves no purpose for students and takes up too much space, particularly in small houses. The goal of this project is to design a multi-purpose coffee table that includes an extra chair, storage space, and an adjustable table surface. This table will have a height adjuster and will function as both small table and computer stand. Not only that it will help most students and children, but it saves space and organize homes. Several strategies have been applied to ensure the project's success; research coffee table, create several designs, choose the best design, and lastly, execute the fabrication process. Undoubtedly, countless problems must be overcome in order for this project to succeed; ergo, solutions must be identified beforehand. There are a few key factors that ensures the project's success; discussion with supervisor, engineer assistance and friends. To summarize, this project's success will benefit individuals and give comfort in everyday life.
