The main objectives of an internship are to expose me as student practical to a particular job and a profession or industry. Also from the internship, student can gain a lot of acknowledge and experience about our industry to more and wide. For me personally I get to apply my theory knowledge when I study before at college during my internship. An internship also in order to expose to student how to overcome the obstacles and difficulties in order to runs the company and our industry which is in tourism industry itself. Beside, internship also the time to student use of basic skill such as computer and software, reading, writing, calculation, research, know how to use office equipment such as photocopy machine and etc. At the internship I practice my skill in professional communication such as, meetings, memos, be confident during deal with client, input of ideas and also answerphone call. One of the advantage that I grab is develop the initiative and motivation to be a self-starter and work independently. I gain a lot knowledge and experience during my 18 week internship at Annur Travel & Tours, which is good for my sake when I get opportunities to work in field soon. The reason why I choose this company because, I want learn more about this company, because this company is a Bumiputera ownership. I want to know how their survive and strategies to compete with others travel agency, plus in Ipoh not many travel agency owner by Bumiputera. For me personally, before this I just know a little bit of this kind company. But when I start to doing my internship here, I get more experience, information about this industry. 1 hope this is not my last lesson and I will apply this valuable knowledge and their company 's objective that i get from them during 4 month internship here for this industry soon. Annur Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd is owned by Haji Othman Bin Adam and as the managing directors of the company, was located at Medan Gopeng Ipoh. It takes only 9 minutes from Ipoh Town. The operation hours is from 9:00 a.m. until 5.30 p.m. on Monday to Friday.
