The practical student of Diploma in Building Surveying re supposed to undergo the practical training for about 4 month starting from 8 JUNE 2015 until 8 OCTOBER 2015. Since the practical student are able to choose their own practical training places, thus, I decide to practical at AMAS FM Consultant Sdn. Bhd.
This industrial training is one of the requirements for all eligible, final semester, graduating students of University Technology MARA (UiTM) Diploma Programs. The main objective of this practical training is to give student to exposure on a real challenging working world. Student will be able to apply the skills that they have obtained throughout their academic years. In addition, students can enhance their knowledge and abilities at the participating companies and develop the student’s intellectual, power and ability in analysing fact finding and investigation through relevant scientific and qualitative analysis. This internship is also a shared social obligation for both UiTM and the companies involved. UiTM practical students will assist institution/organizations in handling appropriate jobs. At the same time, it also allows UiTM in identifying industries’ current needs, hence fulfil them. Therefore, UiTM will be able to strengthen its curriculum and produce graduates who are market-ready.
