A study on facilities management in dairy farm building / Ruzailikha Kamarulzaman

Dairy farm management is a profession that had been long existed for managing the whole operation of dairy farm. The main purpose of dairy farm management is to ensure that the customers of dairy farm can enjoy their stay in the farm with maximum comfort. To achieve that, the management of farm not only has to provide the best services, but also has to manage the facilities of farm in the best condition so that the customers can enjoy using it. Because of that, facilities management is expected can be applied in dairy farm management for managing the facilities. However, the management's perspective and understanding had been the important factor for determining the applicable of facilities management. So, to prove the applicable of facilities management, this research had been carried out to identify the perspectives of the management of farm about facilities management. The perspectives of the management of farm had been chosen as the key to identify the applicable of facilities management because it can be used to determine whether the concept of facilities management can be accepted by the management of farm or not. Due to that, a suggestion for the application of facilities management in dairy farm management was also been made in this research.
