Abstract
This case study is focusing on giving idea how to maintain the taste and to make sure more people could easily get the products. In the first section of the case study will be the general information of the company that has been assembled where the information were gathered through secondary source which their website and social media platforms such as Facebook. The next part of the study is more concentrated onto the subject study. The objective of the object is to work on the background of the company and types of product that provided by the company. Next, the study will focus on the giving the idea that will help the company. In this this case, we analyses the strength, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the company using SWOT Analysis.
Dapur Ibu Food Industry inspired by IT entrepreneur, Arwahyarham Tuan Hj. Ismail. During performing Hajj with his wife on 2009, he came up with the idea of making product such as Sambal Belacan Kampung Style. On day four, the pilgrims were tired of Middle East cuisine, and there was a pilgrims who bring the belacan which turn out they craves for Malaysian cuisine. They bought ingredients to make sambal to satisfy theirs craves which inspired Arwahyarham Tuan Hj. Ismail to commercial ready-made sambal for Hajj and Umrah market. 0n 2011, he decided to present his idea with his children and son-in-law. Operation of making sambal belacan was made at home for a year due to R&D process. During those year, company Dapur Ibu Food Industry was established with collaboration with MARDI for R&D of tenacity of the product, and FAMA which supplier for raw ingredients. Samples of the product that have done then were distributed among Arwahyarham Tuan Hj. Ismail’s friends and families in order to get feedbacks.
