Abstract
An apartment should be build using deep foundation which is pile foundation. Commonly, the pile foundation used a non-displacement of bored pile cast in place with the supported of temporary casing. The working of bored pile foundation has three stage which is first stage cast in place of bored pile, then, install the pile cap on top of the bored pile and lastly, followed by stump of the column. The site working on 172 of bored pile, 109 of pile cap and stump respectively. As the soil at the site is an ex-mines site, the pile need to be test their own workability. In fact, to avoid any collapse of the foundation, before concreting process, the concrete need to test their flexibility and strengthens. In order to test the flexibility, the concrete will be tested using slump test while to test the strengths, the concrete will be used cube test. Besides that, there are 5 types of tests on pile which is instrument load test, maintained load test, pile integrity test, sonic logging test and pile dynamic analyzer. The tests need to be carried out to detect if the pile has defects, damages or cracks in it. It also to analyze the strengths of the pile. If the casting of bored pile is failed then, the casting of pile cap is delayed.
