Abstract
Institution building is an educational building and the place for everyone to learning or to get knowledge. Institution building is functioning to give an education for students. So, as an institution building it must provide a comfortable place for student to increase student's productivity. Space planning is a way to ensure the space in building manages accomplished. Nowadays, there are many institutions/ building in our country did not achieve the human needs, for example human satisfaction in the building. Space planning is very important because by make a space planning, the every single space in the building can be use with efficient and maximum follow the Economic Planning Unit (EPU) guideline. Then the productivity of work by student/ user can be increase equal with the mission of this institution. User satisfaction also can be affected if the space is not being managed properly. The focus on Institut Kemahiran MARA Kuala Lumpur, were found the wastage of space management especially in the class/ lecture room which the management department are not used the space with efficiency. However, the works space likes workshop is insufficient space and not capable for the capacity of student, so, student will fell uncomfortable to done their work.
