The variation of prices in civil engineering works / Muhammad Nazree Mansor

This report briefly described the calculation for the Variation of Price for the government project. The government represented by the Public Work Department had announced several provision and materials which are included in the claim for the Variation of Price. It is made based on several months experience at the RME Sdn. Bhd. at the Contract and Technical Department. This report is divided into several chapters which include the company’s and project’s background. From the experience here, before this, the calculation is made by using the manual ways, recently the calculation for the Variation of Price can be calculated by easier ways using the Q’Best software which had been invented by the Terengganu Quantity Surveying Divisions. Other than that, the calculation which being made by the Consultant, ATZ Consult Sdn. Bhd. had created some questions by the Contractors. As a conclusion, this report has provided sufficient information on the Variation of Price and the ways to calculate for the readers.
