Abstract
Job satisfaction or employee satisfaction has been defined in many different ways. Some believe it is simply how content an individual is with his or her job, in other words, whether or not they like the job or individual aspects or facets of jobs, such as supervision.
The aim of this study was to identify whether factors leading to job satisfaction have an effect on job satisfaction in the workplace. Factors that have been identified from the problem statement are workplace environment, wages, motivation and employee relations.
In conducting the study, the method used to obtain the data is based on the distribution of questionnaires that have been made in conformity with the factors identified. After that, the data were analyzed using SPSS version 23 for Windows.
The results are very encouraging, based on analyzes made using some of the techniques used in analyzing the survey data. Last but not least, a number of suggestions on enhancements have been crafted to help the firm achieve a good level of job satisfaction.
