This report is set out to give the reader full information about my industrial training in Damai Abadi (Johor) Facility Management Sdn Bhd in Pasir Gudang.
Industrial training is one of the compulsory course in Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) which students need to complete whether in developer, consultant, construction, factory or company. This course is set up for students in order to give them experience and gain knowledge in working environment before going through the real working life. It also gives them an opportunity to apply the theories learned at the university to the real world of employment.
Besides that, student can absorb 6 soft skill by develop positive personality along the industrial training session which are interpersonal skills, teamwork skills, communication skills, self management, leadership
awareness and management. Apart from that, the industrial training can be platform for student practice their knowledge and show capability and efficiency to do the work as well as complete the industrial training report.
Student will understand about how employee delegating work properly, discipline and responsible to commit the job. Other than that, Damai Abadi (Johor) Facility Management Sdn Bhd is divided into two places, which is the main office is at Kuala Lumpur, while the other one is at Pasir Gudang, my internship place . There are seven types of departments at Damai Abadi which is civil, mechanical,
electric, JCT, Preventive Maintenance, landscape and housekeeping. It is also mainly focus for the maintenance projects around UiTM.
Damai Abadi (Johor) Facility Management Sdn Bhd led by the Facility Manager. I was placed under the supervision of Mr Noor Aizam Bin Bahauddin, as an engineer of Preventive Maintenance.
