Influence of different types of house design towards preferences for space saving furniture in Bandar Tun Abdul Razak / Muhammad Arash Muttaqin Mohd Zamri

Space saving furniture aims to provide convenience to its users. This study intended
to provide insights about the perceptions of Bandar Tun Abdul Razak residents on
space saving furniture. This study finds out how the residents perceive as well as
figuring the demands for space saving furniture. This study involves all residents
within Bandar Tun Abdul Razak, Jengka by relating the main factor which is their
current house types either terrace, semi-detached, and bungalow with their perception
on space saving furniture. By doing so, the necessity of space saving furniture for this
area could be determined. Based on the results of the survey and interview, most of
the residents view space saving furniture in a positive manner; convenient in terms of
function and space saving, and also trendy. There is a huge demand for space saving
furniture therefore space saving furniture is a necessity for the residents
