Dorsett Grand Subang

This is where my unforgettable and exciting 6-month industrial training course started at Dorsett Grand Subang, Subang Jaya, Selangor. One of Subang Jaya’s best and extravagant hotels is the Dorsett Grand Subang. For my industrial training, I was assigned to a few departments: The Engineering department for one week, the Food & Beverage department for four weeks, and the Fluman Resources department 19 weeks. During those 5 weeks, there was other FIR trainee, so I took her place once she completed her industrial training. My 24- week training began on March 3, 2025, and ended on August 15, 2025. This is an excellent chance for me as a student of human resources management to apply the knowledge and abilities I have acquired in the classroom to a real-world job setting. This section outlines my department’s duties and tasks, how they have helped me develop my abilities, and the advantages I have received during the company’s industrial training period. In the SWOT analysis section, I have listed Dorsett Grand Subang’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Additionally, in order to stay competitive in the hospitality sector, I have made some suggestions about how to improve. Overall, I can say that my 6-month internship experience has been incredibly beneficial and fulfilling. It has helped me to see things from several angles and to understand how the real working world operates.
