Abstract
In alignment with the global call to transform education, drive innovation, and advance lifelong learning for an empowered world, this project introduces an innovative Project-Based Learning (PBL) model that merges technical skill development with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles in real estate education. The initiative challenges students to engage in immersive property inspection simulations—either virtual or physical—where they identify structural issues, assess sustainability performance, and develop actionable insights aligned with real-world industry standards. Through this approach, learners cultivate not only professional competencies in inspection and reporting but also critical ESG awareness—evaluating properties for energy efficiency, social inclusivity, health and safety, and regulatory compliance. The project fosters 21st-century skills, including critical thinking, ethical decision-making, and effective communication, preparing students to become responsible and adaptable professionals in a rapidly evolving global industry. Scalable, interdisciplinary, and rooted in authentic problem-solving, Inspect to Invest exemplifies how education can be transformed to empower individuals, promote innovation, and embed lifelong learning that meets the needs of both industry and society.
