Abstract
Job satisfaction is one of evaluation aspect in work behavior, which has been emphasized by all organization to ensure the successful of organizations’ goal. In this research, the study is made towards the level of job satisfaction among the police force in IPD Melaka Tengah. For the purpose of the study, expletory research was developed in order to identify factors that contribute to job satisfaction. Basically this study is to identify the factors that contribute to job satisfaction among police force in IPD Melaka Tengah. The study will cover 84 police personnel or low rank police officer in IPD Melaka Tengah involving seven departments. For this study, the sampling technique is simple random sampling since it calls for special efforts to locate and gain access to individuals who have the requisite information. By using the analysis generated by SPSS (statistical package for the Social Science), results are analyzed and deduction being drawn. Finally, finding from this study conclude that most of the employees of IPD have, moderate satisfaction with their job, they are satisfied with the working environment but, certain factors should be reviewed by IPD such as in term of compensation and job contents includes salary, bonuses, opportunity and autonomy.
