Industrial training report: BASF Asia Pacific Service Hub Center Sdn Bhd

This report offers a thorough account of my internship in the purchase to pay department at the BASF Asia Pacific Service Hub Center. The goal of the internship, which ran from March 1, 2024, to August 23, 2024, was to improve my practical understanding of finance, hone important professional abilities, and make a significant contribution to BASF's ongoing projects. The purpose of this internship is to help me develop my financial analysis skills so that I may use my academic knowledge to analyse and report on financial data in the real world. In addition, in order to strengthen my reporting skills, I want to gain expertise creating and presenting financial projections and reports. It is my goal to contribute to strategic planning during this internship. I am able to assist the financial team with their strategic planning and decision-making.
I was in charge of overseeing and streamlining an organisation's payment and procurement procedures throughout my internship. My duties include a variety of activities designed to guarantee the P2P cycle runs smoothly and effectively, from making purchases of products and services to handling payment processing. I have to make sure that the receipts and invoices match the purchase orders. Verify that the terms, prices, and quantities are accurate. In addition, I have to address and fix any inconsistencies or problems with invoices, like pricing mistakes or missing supporting paperwork.
I've had a really fulfilling internship at the BASF Asia Pacific Service Center, where I've gained hands-on knowledge of the entire invoice processing process. I now have a much better understanding of financial practices because of the skills and knowledge I've acquired throughout this time, which has also helped me become ready for future employment options in finance. I am grateful for the chance to work with BASF Asia Pacific Service Center and am eager to use these experiences in my future professional endeavours.
