Abstract
Training program is a vital part in any organization nowadays. By implementing training program, it not only can increase the organization reputation, but at the same time it will improve and enhance employees performance. Improvement involves change, and training prepares employees for the change by providing the skills needed to work as a team member, communicate effectively, and identify and solve problems. Training program requires certain elements for it to be successful: a change in the company's culture; support of top management; a strategy to guide the company; communicating to employees the reason for improvement and how the change will affect them; providing the proper training and providing it at the proper time; and evaluating the training process. Therefore these studies are conducted to examine the effectiveness of the training program to increase employees’ performance. A sample of 50 employees in Perodua Manufacturing Sdn Bhd was given the questionnaires. Besides the administered questionnaires and interviewing, other methods of research that have applied in this study are data collection, and also Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) The studies try to show that the effectiveness of training program is very important to all employee even the present or the existence employees. So, this finding is hopefully can contribute and help this organization in order to plan a training program that can increase the employees performance toward their work.
