Abstract

I am currently a final-year student majoring in Human Resource Management (HRM), engaged in an industrial training course (HRM666). As part of this course, I have been completing a six-month internship at Perbadanan Ekonomi Islam Perak Sdn Bhd, which began on March 1, 2024, and will conclude on August 9, 2024.
Throughout this internship, I have gained hands-on experience in various HR functions, including recruitment, benefit, payroll, training and development and HR administration. My primary project has been to perform a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis of the company. This project aims to provide strategic insights and recommendations to enhance the HR practices and overall efficiency of the organization.
This internship has allowed me to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical application, equipping me with the skills and knowledge essential for a successful career in Human Resource Management.
