Abstract
Muslims today lead challenging lives. They do not only face political and economic threats but are also affected by other socio-cultural aspects, including food and products commonly used every day. In fact, this is unknowingly influencing the Islamic lifestyle. The issue of pureness of a product or service is something that is sensitive to Muslims. For a Muslim, any issue that concerns the question of Halal and Haram should be taken seriously. As Islam sets the beliefs of a Muslim, there is nothing that can be taken lightly. This study is conducted to find out the consumers awareness and satisfaction towards Halal Issues in consumers product. This research is conducted in Alor Gajah area. Basically, every consumer has their rights regarding the consumer’s product and for the Muslim consumers, the Halal status which refers to Halal certification and logo has given a big impact towards their daily life. There is several significance of the study. In order to reduce the dissatisfaction among Muslims consumers it should be increase the awareness first. The importance of the research is also to find out whether the awareness and satisfactions of Muslims consumers are influenced by the moderating variables such as the age, occupation and the level of education. These researches conducted via questionnaires that have been distributed by hand to the Muslim Consumers in Alor Gajah.
