Industrial training report: Maybank Kuala Kangsar / Nur Afifah Adila Kamaruzzaman

All undergraduate programs in the Faculty of Business and Management including Human Resource students require to complete an internship, also known as on-the-job training, in areas related to their course and subject concentration. This internship program serves as practical training for students to gain knowledge, skills, and feel the environment of the workplace in order to gain work experience and responsibility in carrying out tasks set by the employer.
I successfully finished my Industrial Training Report at Malayan Banking Berhad's Kuala Kangsar branch. My internship begins on March 1, 2024, and finishes on August 9, 2024. In my opinion, Malayan Banking Berhad is the ideal location for me to obtain experience, skills, information, and grow.
Malayan Banking Berhad is Malaysia's largest banking and financial services company, with operations in several countries. Maybank is Malaysia's largest bank, with around 374 local branches and 90 overseas branches and offices. Maybank has operations in various countries, including the Philippines, Brunei, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Papua New Guinea, New York, London, Hong Kong, and Bahrain.
This report will examine Maybank's SWOT analysis. The process of determining and assessing an organization's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, is known as a SWOT analysis. SWOT analysis aids in assessing both external and internal business-affecting elements. Not only that, this report also has discussion and recommendation for each SWOT analysis that is supported with some reference. It helps the reader understand why the analysis is essential and vital by assessing positive and negative factors within and outside the firm.
